 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is an upcoming 2013 American science-fiction dystopian thriller/action-adventure film based on Suzanne Collins' novel Catching Fire, the second installment in The Hunger Games trilogy. The sequel to the 2012 film The Hunger Games, it is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2013. The film is directed by Francis Lawrence, with a screenplay from Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt. Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role as Katniss Everdeen, with Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, and Willow Shields also reprising their roles.

 The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a Victor's Tour of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow  prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that will change Panem forever.

 Jennifer Shrader Lawrence

Jennifer Shrader Lawrence (born August 15, 1990) is an American actress. She had lead roles in TBS's The Bill Engvall Show and in the independent films The Burning Plain and Winter's Bone, for which she received nominations for the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Satellite Award, and the Screen Actors Guild Award. At age 20, she was the second youngest actress ever to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress. Lawrence is also known for playing Raven Darkh?lme / Mystique in the 2011 film X-Men: First Class. In 2012, she achieved wider recognition starring as the heroine Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, an adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel of the same name. Her performance in the film garnered her notable critical praise and marked her as the highest-grossing action heroine of all time. Lawrence's performances thus far have prompted Rolling Stone to call her "the most talented young actress in America".
